I've seen some intricate tattoos in my time, probably the only thing that might be have to cut down on is the number of lines that make up the shades to keep the engraving feel.

My tattooist usually ends up having to reduce the detail or boost the size on my own designs; it's not much of an issue for a decent tattooist though.

Looking at the size of the design I don't think that the detail would ever be a problem especially because much of the detail is hatching, but yeah definitely depends on the artist. Seen it done though.
I like the design a lot. It is awesome the way you have incorporated so many traditional tattoo symbols in this 'new' style.
