Description

This page is inspired by creatures such the thunder bird or the rock. So, that iis it. Most are hard to classify as actual birds since they have different anatomical structures and stuff like that, so probably they just evolved by convergent evolution or just as mimicry for defense. And hey! we are at the 700s! now just 300 to go, so close and yet so far away...

708) Endodermopterix: A "bird" with arthropod body parts and structures. In fact I used every kind of possible body skin I could think of at the moment, but tou'll see.

709) ferrolagia: Another creature with its body covered with steel blades. I love that concept, or at least I did, I don't know if I would abuse of it now, or at least I would try a new approach.

710) Thornbill: Covered with spikes, easy right? everybody loves thorns and spikes, probably because we hate them. Now, really, what the ponit of spikes at these heghits of evolution? some thorns are not going to save you from me eating you if I feel like or ... ok forget it.

711) Soul tribunal: Some sort of mummy vultre like creature with egyptian fashion. So, yes, It is inspired by Warhammer's funerary kings. In my defense I can say I added some weird spikes there on its hands >_>

712) Scagliadermia: Like an eagle, but covered in scales and with membranes instead of wings to sustain its wings. It's also quire reptilian, in other ways, as you see it has a long fleshy tail... but you do see that, so I don't have to tell you about it.

713) Pachypshiseid: Some flying creature, It is supposed to fly at least for some time, though it looks kinda heavy to fly like a finch, which is covered in thick armour plates of bone. Birds are to frail and I sometimes find that boring.

714) Soferst: A giant tamed flying creature. If this things did actally make any sense, which would their ecological rol be? Sometimes we are used to think about creatures like this one in fantasy contexts, but what would happend if they would be real? How would they behave?
Anyway, I want one.

715) Sentinel: A guardian of the night forest, its secrets, its knowledge and ...all those things you've heard a zillion times from your GM.

716) Pilusigenia: A hairy bird... or a bird like mammal. Well it does have hooves, but who knows, hooves could evolve their feet into hooves or something why not, after all ostriches have lost most of their toes and could lose one more, and then becomeflying again... well we've seen some crazy 5h17 happening before with birds, just look at a mononychus.
