Unit Silhouettes

Giant file is giant.


I made this after playing Epic War 3. I usually fooled around making silhouettes series for imaginary video games. I did bazillions of them. Usually fantasy stuff.
Did a lot of Warcraft fan-art which included actual and made up units. What I like to call "homologies" in which I established some basic unit ideas and made armies with those general ideas but different themes and styles.
Its a great exercise and builds up creativity, sense of game balance and diversity of design.
So yea, I was playing Epic War 3 when I realized that the units were completely random and all armies shared all monsters. If I were my younger self I would have said: "What in the world would goblins want to do with an army of zombies led by a John Doe price. This is stupid" and proceded to draw goblins led by their goblin kings and supported by their goblin artillery/mounts.
But I said "... well why not? and why not only break any boundary of army-ness but not combine every action genre in a way it can't be distiguished"
Now you can sort of tell apart a style on most of this units but you get the idea.
I've been thinking about expaning this file, maybe I'll add some new groups of units on each level, or paste old silhouettes in. Who knows.
