So... a friend of mine recently linked me to this:

copycover.com/search?key=rodri…

I'm not normally the one to rage over "they stehling muh artwerk!" lately, but this one seemed particularly grevious and largescale. It has 10ns of pages of my artwork and some other from people I can recognize at a glance. Apparently they are nearly lifting entire DA galleries from and selling prints with the images without the artist's consent.

Google you own work (and other people's actions if you are so kind) and report it. Inform them of the illegality of their business model. If anyone knows how to blast this thing down from the web entirely that'd be nice too.

Hey everyone! I want you all to know I'm not dead, and in fact I'm back alive and well from my time travels and I brought something directly from 2007! Are you ready?

www.facebook.com/pages/Art-of-…

It's a facebook page! as foreshadowed by the title of this journal entry. Unlike the previous facebook page I had linked here in DA, this one does -not- belong to some random people completely unrelated to me. It's actually for my art-business needs.

In a nutshell, yes; I'm shamelessly asking you all pretty please to click *Like* and *Share* on everything in it. Because I need to eat. Free advertising!
As it so happens If all my 10.000+ watchers here to like my work's FB page, so that their friends and mothers can reach my work...
...That would give me sweet odds to be recognized and make a comfortable living out of my creations.
In exchange you get a more constant delivery of my new art (currently I just added a small selection), what I'm up to (there is a lot of stuff that never makes it to my deviant) and all your questions, contact and requests to be replied almost instantly during any point of the day in which I'm conscious. Which if you as much as vaguely like my work is a decent deal for 0:00$ I suppose.

Everything today goes through facebook and lots of likes on a page sure helps sell a service to bigger possibilities, public and investments, so give lil'ol' Rodir a hand and I'll be sure to be as grateful as possible :)

Thanks everyone for your attention and have a great day!

This is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time.
For those of you who have ever asked; IRIRIV was some type of decomposition of a Tolkien-monogram-sort-rip-off-thing I used as personal symbol for like a month when I was 16/17? and created this account. Ever since, my Deviant Account became a pretty big thing (for me at least) becoming one of my main means of expressing myself, showing my work to friends and public and even as a major source of professional work. Eventually the name stuck and when you are not a premium account it's pretty much written in stone...
Point being the name carried some problems: It was unpronounceable, so that it required to be spelled or directly linked at all times. It was hard to remember with precision, so even people familiar with it would have a hard time googling it or referring it to friends and colleagues. And probably worst of all it was more famous than me. My account and me are not titans, but on it's way to 11.000 watchers, it's certainly biggish and having worked in several fields and projects, rather often I stumble upon my work outside of DA or learn that people has already done so, yet no one makes the connection that IRIRIV is me.
I considered it a reasonable step in my professional career to make myself sure that people who has seen my work knows who I am. I also considered the opportunity of using a nickname or artistic name; maybe Rodir, as some of my friends call me, which I think would also help English speakers be able to properly pronounce my name : P.
But probably my real full name should do the trick.
Anyway, next step is probably creating a facebook page for my art. I have some followers that have added me there and though it's always really charming to meet the people who enjoys my work I'm.. not very sure that I could call them "friends" (even though some of them certainly became so!) so that sort of mixes thing up. So stay tuned for that too, I'll let you know when it's up.
I think that's it. Thanks for reading anyone who could possibly have been interested xD
So have a nice day everyone!

The speech was improvised and I'm still not all that confident in front of cameras, so you can enjoy my awkwardness in all it's glory.
It's also painful to me watching it how much I used the word "like".
Still, I hope you enjoy : P
If you can follow Novus Aeterno on youtube or facebook that would also be cool.

www.kickstarter.com/projects/5…

Dear Deviants! I'm posting for you here to let you check out the kickstarter of a certain little project to which I got a little involved. The Stomping Land is an online video game in which players undertake the rol of tribal hunters to hunt and survive in a world of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.
Luckily I rushed in them just in time to shout out "WAIT! what if...we use non-cliche dinosaurs?" And the reactions were great!
The devlopers are very open and friendly and hopefully we'll be able to see all types of wonderful yet unfortunaly currently unpopular ancient creatures such as prestosuchids and Azhdarchids as well as some dinosaurs that never make it to popular media, like Stygimoloch and my beloved Austroraptor.

So if you are interested in the game as a project (I honeslty  think it's a kickass one), you want to support the popularity of new ancient species in the eyes of new generations, or just want to support my art (thumbnails of my sketches are there inside) you'd be helping me out a lot. Click in, like it, share it, or even donate! (thats what kickstarters are for anyway and how I'm supposed to be paid)

So thanks in advance!
I hope you like and pretty sure you will. Reactions are really good so far. :)
I know I have been dead-silent here in DA lately, but there is just so much I have been doing. So here is one thing.
Later along the line I will be posting those images in a higher quality here, new animals aswell and all sorts of other stuff I'm holding from you. Stay tunned!
